Terms of use

These terms govern your use of this website. Our consulting and engineering work is never provided under them: every engagement runs on its own signed agreement.

1. Agreement

settlers.tech (the “site”) is operated by Rizq Management Software Ltd, a company registered in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, trading as Settlers (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is

The site describes our services — the design, building and operation of AI agent workflows inside the systems a business already runs — and publishes material about them: industry playbooks and their audio editions, a manifesto, an interactive demonstration, a list of systems we integrate with, and a contact form. There are no user accounts and nothing is sold through the site.

3. Engagements are separate

Any services we provide to you or your organisation are governed only by a written agreement signed by both parties, such as a master services agreement and statement of work, together with our data processing agreement where we process personal data for you. Nothing on the site is an offer capable of acceptance. Descriptions of scope, timing, pricing, security posture and deliverables become binding only when they are written into that agreement.

Promotional offers shown on the site, including discount codes, are invitations to discuss an engagement. They apply only if referenced when we first speak and confirmed in the signed agreement, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time before signature.

4. Demonstrations and sample data

The interactive demonstration, product screens, charts, order numbers, company names, margins and other figures on the site are simulated examples built to show how a workflow behaves. They are not records of a real client, not a measurement of results you should expect, and not a representation of the system we would build for you, which depends on your processes, data and systems.

5. Playbooks and other content are not advice

Our playbooks, manifesto and audio editions are research and opinion, published to explain how we think. They cite third-party sources, which we label by their nature — independently verified, vendor-reported or secondary — and which remain the responsibility of their authors. The content is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax, regulatory or other professional advice, and you should not act on it without advice specific to your situation.

The integration list shows whether we have worked with, or expect to be able to connect to, a given category of system. Whether a particular deployment of that system can be connected depends on its version, configuration and licensing, and is established during an engagement. Product names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify those products; their appearance does not imply any partnership or endorsement.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site in breach of any law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
  • submit false information, or anyone else’s personal data without a lawful basis, through the contact form;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting or its form endpoint, or to probe, scan or test their vulnerability without our written permission;
  • send automated or bulk requests, including spam through the contact form, or scrape the site in a way that degrades it;
  • introduce malicious code, or interfere with the site’s operation.

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to hello@settlers.tech and give us a reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it.

7. Intellectual property

The site and its content — text, playbooks, audio, illustrations, the demonstration, the Settlers name and marks, and the underlying code — belong to us or our licensors. You may view and listen to them, and share links to them, for your own information and internal business purposes. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. Any other copying, redistribution, modification or commercial use needs our written permission.

If you send us feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them without any obligation to you. Information you send us about your own business is treated as confidential and used only to respond to you; a formal non-disclosure agreement is available before our first call.

8. Third-party links and services

The site links to third-party websites and sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

9. Availability

We provide the site on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete, accurate or current.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content. Our total liability to you arising from the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the site, are governed by the laws applicable in the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The courts of the Abu Dhabi Global Market have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, each party will try in good faith to resolve the dispute by discussion for at least thirty days. Consumers keep any mandatory protection given by the law of the country where they live.

12. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page; the date at the top shows when they last changed. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
